Cast your vote on my new book cover!

The 28th Of December is my birthday and I wonder if you would like to give me a very quick and easy birthday treat by taking part in my book cover vote for an upcoming novel I will be releasing in just a few months time.

I will post more details nearer the time but briefly the book is to be called V1 Vixen and will be the first part of a trilogy of vigilante style novels in the Pulp Noir genre. The star of the story is a young woman whose friend disappears and with the police unable to make much progress with the investigation and more lives in danger, decides to take the law into her own hands and dispense justice at night whilst dispensing medicines at the pharmacy in her fairly mundane day job.

I started writing V1 in January 2015 and hope to have the first draft completed within a week or two so now is the time to start thinking of book cover designs. Fortunately for me, I have two friends in particular who were very enthusiastic to help me out.

Ru Barard is not only incredibly photogenic but a talented makeup artist who matched up with my ideas for the heroine and was more than happy to appear as the titular character on the front cover.  Her husband Gooch just happens to be a great photographer and so between the two of them, here I am with some fantastic book cover ideas.

I hope you’ll agree that they are all striking and visually appealing, which is always a good idea for a book cover.  However which do you prefer?  Please let me know by casting your vote!

    • Thank-you Amy. 42 and not a grey hair on my head and more hair on my head than Prince William when he was 17 🙂 not too bad going. Thanks for voting, I’m glad you like them. I hope they will get eve fines attention when the book comes out.

  3. Thank you Ekaterina. Can you imagine I will be 42′ apparently the age when you find the meaning of life. I think I can wait until breakfast to find out rather than stay up for midnight 🙂 I’m glad you like the covers, it is such a difficult choice!

  4. Happy birthday! Great covers, I prefer the close up ones personally, but they are all good.

I’ll go for the second one.
I reject the third one outright, coz a look/eyes/ conveys a lot.
