Cambridge Private Walking Tour

Cambridge is just an hour or so by train from London and makes for a great day trip or indeed place for a longer stay.

Cambridge is famous around the world for its renowned university education and it only takes a few hours here to understand what an inspiring place it is.  History seeps outs of every stone as you wonder around this beautiful centre of learning and walking from one college to another through courtyards and into ornate chapels.  Cambridge is instantly recognisable from numerous television series and films and we will explore some of the most beautiful and historic sights.

Why not walk over the famous bridges that span the River Cam. Better still have a trip on the river by one of the boaters.

We will visit the magnificent Kings College Chapel (entrance included of course) and the inspiring Wren Library in Trinity College along with a walk along The Backs, the part of the college that sits besides the picturesque river and even the offshoot of that famous tree which Sir Isaac Newton saw an apple fall from.

Should it be open to the public, we’ll visit the wonderful St Johns College and see The Bridge of Sighs

Cambridge also has its fair share of churches and museums and some cafes and tremendous places selling chocolates and sweets that are just divine.

The possibilities of a private tour day in Cambridge are endless and it’ll be a day to remember forever.

Your guide will meet you either off the train from London at Cambridge Station and return you there at the end of the tour or alternatively can meet you at any Cambridge City hotel.
